Your dashboard at a glance
A guided tour of every section in your CalcWidgets dashboard and what each one is for.
When you log in at calcwidgets.com/dashboard you'll see seven sections in the sidebar. Here's what each one is for so you know where to go.
Dashboard (home)
Your account status, trial countdown (if applicable), and quick links to the actions you'll use most often. Nothing is editable here — it's a read-only summary.
Manage Calculators
Tick which calculators to enable for your account. Choose the default layout used when an embed doesn't specify one. NZ clients also see DTI cap settings here.
Branding
The big one. Set your primary, secondary and accent colours, upload a logo, configure your Call-To-Action button (link / phone / email), and pick a default layout. Changes apply instantly to every embed across every page of every site.
Embed
Where you generate the actual code to paste into your website. Pick the calculators you want on a particular page, choose a layout, copy the iframe or script code, paste it into your CMS.
Analytics
A 30-day rolling view of how your calculators are performing — total views, calculations, exports, and CTA clicks. Also a per-calculator breakdown so you can see which tools are getting traction.
Settings
Account info (company name, email, subdomain, region — all read-only post-signup), subscription status, link to the Stripe Customer Portal for billing, and the sign-out button.
Contact
Pre-filled support ticket form for when you need us. Faster than email if you're already logged in because we have your account context.
What you'll do day-to-day
Most days you won't open the dashboard at all — your calculators just run on your website. When you do come back, it's usually for one of these three things:
- Add a calculator to a new page — Embed page → tick calculators → copy code → paste into your CMS.
- Update your branding — Branding page → change colours/logo/CTA → save. No re-embedding needed.
- See if your calculators are getting used — Analytics page.
